BRIDES TO BE ENJOY A DAY WITH A DIFFERENCE
SK teamed up with selected local businesses to offer brides-to-be a wedding event with a difference.
SK Clinic + Spa of Bury St Edmunds teamed up with a selection of specially chosen and recommended local businesses to offer brides-to-be a wedding event with a difference, held on Sunday 29th March. The relaxing environment of the luxury SK Clinic + Spa provided the ideal setting for couples to gain information and advice on how to plan their big day.
Guests indulged in some delicious cuisine from The Grid catering company, whilst the SK therapists were busy treating everyone to complimentary French manicures. A breath-taking Terry Fox couture bridal wedding dress was showcased at the event which drew many admirers, complimented by beautiful Jewellery creations, specialists in fresh water pearls. The SK bride’s hair was creatively styled by Michelle McGowan, a talented freelance stylist with over 20 years experience, and the exquisite bouquet designed to complement the dress was created by Passiflora.
With the average wedding taking 250 hours to plan, experts from The Organzia Ltd were on hand to offer advice on how to organise the big day, promoting their bespoke wedding planning service. Guests looking for a stylish yet intimate wedding venue may have found the perfect choice with Tuddenham Mill, whilst the newly converted period barn at The Fox Inn offers 6 charming rooms, ideal for honey-mooners. Other exhibitors at the event included local photographer Brett Robinson from B.A.R Photo Art, and personal Travel Consultant, Tracey Gorman, from Travel Counsellors.
Laura Marshall of Guildhall Street, Bury St Edmunds, was the lucky winner of the free prize draw held on the day, who won a luxury Pevonia gift hamper and vouchers to spend with SK and the exhibitors. Each guest also received a Pevonia Skincare goody bag, with compliments from SK.
