SK Clinic + Spa held successful launch party to celebrate opening
The new SK Clinic + Spa held their official launch party on the evening of Thursday 3rd July from 6-9pm to celebrate their forthcoming opening on 14th July.
Guests started arriving at 6pm and were instantly greeted by the friendly but professional SK therapists. Each guest was then personally invited for a guided tour of the spa or you could simply wander around the new premises at your leisure.
The ground floor consists of 6 specialised treatment rooms, each individual with their own personalised décor and mood. Calming music could be heard throughout the entire area, including the softly candle-lit toilets. At the end of the hall, the hydrotherapy room was darkly serene but complemented with the glisten of miniature candles surrounding the bath’s ledge whilst the partly-filled tub revealed charming orchid leaves gently floating on the water’s surface. The very end of this hallway unveiled a surreal area to relax in; a private environment where the cool atmosphere and dim lighting tempts anyone who enters it to lose themselves in the cushioned sofas and dare to close those tired eyes for just a few minutes.
Back to reality, as you wander up the unusually-decorated staircase, you mosey into the eye-catching relaxation room situated at the front of the building. The first thing that strikes you is the most beautiful chandelier; a hundred or more perfectly-cut glass tear-drops meticulously dangling over an inviting set of back-to-back comfy sofas. This is without doubt the centre-piece of the area where incandescent rays beam through the high-peaked windows providing a sanctuary of peace and tranquility secluded in this busy and popular medieval town.
This was also where guests had the choice of selective champagnes or unusual cordial mixtures whilst small trays of delectable canapés were endlessly presented by the helpful waiters wherever you turned. Passionate background music was provided by a saxophonist to complete the ambience which oozed with a feel of subtle style and elegance. As you wandered through the hallway, again there were 6 more individualised private treatment rooms ending with two methodical manicure stations. This area is set in a peaceful, uniquely decorated area situated below with a skylight which was reflecting down silhouettes of the evening sunset.
As new guests, product house staff and press came and went, the evening was almost over but not before
